How your website should look like?

We know the power of the internet. More than half of world is on the internet. In 2018 active users just cross the mark of 4 billion which is a really huge number. So through the internet, we can connect all these people and share our idea with them. There are different mediums to connect with all those people. Here our target is to connect people as much as possible.  Out of all those medium, we are going to discuss websites in this post. The website is medium by which you can share your solution with the world.

In this post, I try to give a basic overview of the website. I try to avoid complexities so you can understand it quickly.

1. Website and domain:

Consider a coffee shop example.  So before starting the business, coffee shop owner need to buy a place where he can sell the product. In this case, he buys a place or gets a place on rent.

Similarly to get your business online, you need to get a place called as a website and the areas of the place called as a domain name. In above example, a domain name may be like mycoffeeshop.com or bestcoffee.com etc.  You need to buy your domain from register like go daddy, Bluehost etc.  You can get your domain name by searching it in the registrar. If your domain name

2. Server:

The server is a computer connected to the internet with software that will store your website.

every website having some data and this data need to get store somewhere. As per the name, the function of the server is to serve. Whenever someone wants to visit your website they serve related information.

There are various service provider available in the market.

What should you include on your website:

1.About us page: whenever the customer visits your website they make it sure to visit you're about us page.  In about us, the page you should provide information regarding your organization, your products, your best offers, your specialty etc. About us, page completely depends on website creators creativity.

2.Different category: If you have more than one categories like in coffee shop you must mention different categories so that it's been easy to navigate through your website.

3.Review page: Your website should have review page so that customer should give a review of your product and help you to improve your services and grow your business.

4.Live chat: According to a survey conducted by Google, 68% of the customer who did the google searches will visit the store in 24 hours and 50% of them would buy the product. so you should have a live chat function.

5. Contact us: Your website must have contact us page. On contact us page, you should provide contact form so that you can collect information about your customer like name, mobile number, email id etc.  On contact us page, you must provide information regarding the opening and closing your shop.

6. Social networking site links: Your website must contain social networking website. 71% of small businesses won't have a social networking site links.

So that's all for today.  In upcoming days I post SEO and another web related stuff.......

How to get your business online?

So we all know that how important internet is and how it can help us to build our business online.  In my last blog post, We discuss points like a number of users on the internet, how much time they use the internet and how they use the internet and much more.  So we know that how important is to get your product/business online in this era where many e-commerce websites established like Amazon, Flipkart etc.  So it's become mandatory that your business should have an online presence.

What we do before we start a business?

Before starting a business we need to understand it exactly what it is?

So business is nothing but an act of buying or selling something.  In simple words, in business, we analyze people, Understand their problem and find out the ways by which we can solve them.

After solving the problem we sell the solution for that problem to people. That's interesting, we do not sell the product but sell the solution to the problem which we have solved.

To sell the solution, we would have to promote it in traditional ways, for example-  by publishing in newspaper paper, magazine etc. For the instance, we consider news medium as a promotion medium. Through the newspaper article, we need to convince people to buy our service and why our service is
the best service available on the market.

So if our advertising was seen by 10000 peoples and out of the 10% (just for example) people buy your service which solves their problem.

In simple words, more the number of people you reach more will be sold and more the sell more will be profit. So from now, our focus is to reach more and more people and increase our sell by convincing them to buy or service.

So how we reach more people?  The best solution is Internet.......

We know that the internet is the best medium to reach more and more people.  In short, we need to get our business online but how?

How to get your business online?

1. Google my business or just dial:

A solution to this problem is base on type of business you are doing. Consider you are having a coffee shop. So most of your customers are local.

Then you have an option like just dial or google my business. They also have review system so people give a review of your service which will help you to build the customer as well as improve your service.

2.Website:

For same coffee shop example, we also have the second solution. The coffee shop owner can publish a website or you can say e-commerce site. The website is nothing but your own space on the internet with your address (domain name). On that site shop, the owner can give the information regarding the service they provide, opening and closing time, table booking, live chat, contact detail, special service etc.

3. Social networking sites:

For same coffee shop example, we have the third solution is the social networking site. You can use social networking sites like facebook, twitter, Google+ to promote your service, as we know half of the world is on the internet. Either they promote their services by themselves or by giving their social networking sites link on their website.

Through their website, they can reach more and more people and convince them to buy their product.

Here are some statistical data which can prove my point:
  • According to a survey conducted by Google, 68% of the customer who did the google searches will visit the store in 24 hours and 50% of them would buy the product.
  • Studies show that 70-80% people research for service provider before visiting them.
  •  25% offline revenue is getting an increase of 30% of small business because of their website.
  • 91% customer would visit the store due to their online website which means an increase in a number of customers.
There is another solution is also available for google app. we discuss them later in my upcoming posts.
Also, we discuss more detail about a website for small businesses in detail in an upcoming post. Just for now keep in mind that we are going to build our online/digital presence and grow together...

So that's all for today.  In upcoming days I post, How exactly you get your business online by establishing a website.

Internet use and opportunities

Internet... everyone aware of it.  We all know how our world changed in last 15 years because of the internet and it is still changing.  In the beginning, the internet is not popular that much but with time it gets to evolve and become a part of our lives.  In 2018 there are 4 billion active users which is really a huge number. Almost half of the world is using the internet.  The internet has changed everything and still changing.

Do you know how much time people spend on the internet?  the adult person would spend almost 20 hours on the internet while in 2005  people spend 10 hours on the internet. But time is not what we want to know?  We need to focus on how people are using the internet in their daily life.  That's the key part where we should show interest.

So if there are so many users on the internet then there has to be a valid reason why they are using the internet and spending so much time on the internet.

Here are some figure showing that how people using the internet?
  • Social networking: social networking involves many media through which people connect with each other like facebook, twitter, snap chat etc people almost spent 22% of time social networking sites.
  • Online reading: people love to read. There are various ways of online reading a blog.  People spend up to 20% of their time on online reading.
  • email and communication: People spend 19% of their time emails and communication.
  • E-commerce(online shopping): People love shopping but the problem with shopping is that it is time-consuming. what if whatever you want to buy is just one click away, that solve our problem. People spend 5% of the time on online shopping. At the End of 2017, it's estimated that there are 100 million online shoppers in India buy online.  That's really a huge number.
  • Searches:  People spends 21% of their time on a search engine to gid out something like any shop address or information regarding any topic etc.
  • Video/audio: People spend almost 19% of there time watching videos online.

e-commerce website like Amazon, Flipkart etc. making a huge profit through there online sell. But this affecting small business.  I know that they can become a seller on that e-commerce sites but most of the people don't know how to? How to get your product/business online and promote your product and sell it online. Today world is getting online and it's time that we should get online too.  In India, people are getting attracted toward's shopping online which is indicating that how important is to get your product on the internet.

From above data, we can see that there a huge number of people online today and there are really good opportunities for people to sell their product online in front of 4 billions of people and as the time passes, the number of users will increase and that's really going to impact your business  So the decision is up to you whether or not get your business online......

IIOT- INDUSTRIAL INTERNET OF THINGS.

IOT- INDUSTRIAL INTERNET OF THINGS.

In my last blog, we understand what exactly the 4th industrial revolution (Industry 4.0) is what are the different elements come under it?  So the very common concept come under Industry 4.0 is IOT & IIOT.  When we talk about IOT or IIOT, what common between themes that the divides are smart and they exchange data through the internet.

We already discuss the Internet of things on my previous blog. In this blog, we mainly focus on the Industrial internet of things (IIOT).

Industrial internet of things mainly refers to smart devices use in industry, the manufacturing firm, smart factory etc.  While the Internet of things come under consideration when we talk about consumer devices like a smart house, smart car etc.

What is IIOT?

So the industrial internet of things is defined as an application of internet of things in manufacturing firm, industry.  IIOT has control over the quality of a product, supply chain efficiency, etc.

What exactly happens in IIOT OR IOT?

So in IIOT or IOT, there are smart devices which are connected to the common network, are communicating through internet and exchanges data.  This data is going to collect and those smart devices analyze this data and take actions in real time.

Example:

1.IIOT in the smart factory:

So in the old industry, there is an ERP system which connected to different elements of manufacturing firm like supplier, customer, manufacturing shop floor, different machines etc.

So if a customer having requirements for 10 product,  it gives information to the ERP system of organization. ERP collects the data eighter in digital form or on paper. Then the data get analyze mannualy and the corresponding raw material requirement is send to the raw material supplier.

It may take hours or in some conditin=on take day to analyze this data and take the decision.

So here IIOT comes in to picture. In IIOT the MES system directly connected to supplier and customer. So any requirement is there, data is immediately shared with MES and ERP system.  With help of communicating devices, decisions are taken in real time, so it decreases production time. Also, it gives real time scenario regarding the product so that firm modify their product on a real time basis

2. Smart home having smart Airconditioner:

In old air conditioning systems, we use remote to control settings of the ac according to our requirement, but all this tech is passed. So in past, we are the one who takes the decisions according to our comfort.
But in case of smart home devices like AC, these decisions are taken by smart devices in real time. The decision is mainly taken by computing devices, they collect the data, store the data and analyze data & take actions in real time.

Emerging startup in IOT in India:

  1. Stellaps
  2. Zenatix
  3. Smartron
  4. Carsense
  5. Carnot technologies
  6. Boltt sports technologies
There are many more.....

Companies implementing IOT OR IIOT:

1.Microsoft
2.Google
3.Intel
4.IBM
5.General Electric

So this is a just short review over IIOT, there are much more remaining.
If you enjoyed this post you might also enjoy these posts:

Did you understand what exactly IIOT Is?  What are the exciting ideas you have to implement IIOT?
Let us know in the comment...

INDUSTRY 4.0

INDUSTRY 4.0

Industry 4.0 is 4th industry revolution. Industry 4.0 also refers to a Smart factory.  Make in India campaign are encouraging our youth to revolutionize Indian manufacturing industry. Indian Institute of science building Indians first smart factory in Bengaluru with seed funding from Boeing company. so to understand industry 4.0, we need to know what exactly happens in the industry before industry 4.0.  What are the first three industrial revolutions, when did they happen & how it contributes to the industry?
Then we are going to discuss Industry 4.0 in detail.

1. First industrial revolution:

It happens in between the year 1760 to 1840.  First industry revolution makes much development in industries like textile industry, iron industry, machine tool, steam power chemical, agricultural, transportation, mining etc.

2. Second industry revolution:

Second industry revolution happens in between 19th and 20th century.  Second industrial revolution mainly focuses on chemicals, electricity, petroleum and all products obtained from this.  Second industrial revolution makes development in a steel mill, electric light, automobile, airplane, diesel engine, refrigerator etc. In second industrial revolution mass production start.

3. Third industrial revolution:

Third industrial revolution is underway which focuses on making manufacturing digital.  In the 3rd industrial revolution, automation comes in to picture which improve production rate as well as the quality of product and also reduce the manufacturing cost of the product.

This is all about industrial evolution:

4. Industry 4.0 :

What is industry 4.0?

INDUSTRY 4.0 is nothing but fourth industrial revolution.  Industry 4.0 is the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies.  It includes the cyber-physical system, Internet of things, cloud computing, cognitive computing.

What is design principle for Industry 4.0?

There are 4 key principles which help different industries to implement Industry 4.0.

  1. Interoperability:
Internet of things comes under industry 4.0. so interoperability is an ability of mechanical devices like different machines, peoples connect together and communicate with each other to assist manufacturing processes.

    2.  Information transparency:

This principle requires that information systems should be able to create virtual copies of the physical world by the configuration of digital data into sensor data. For this to be achieved, raw sensor data has to be aggregated with compatible context data.

    3. Technical assistance:

Technical assistance is nothing but providing assistance to human to do a task which is unpleasant or unsafe for a human.

   4.Decentralised decisions:

It is an ability of a cyber-physical system to take their decision on there own and make the system as autonomous as possible.

Challenges in Industry 4.0:

  • Loss of many jobs
  • IT security -Internet of things security issue.
  • Employees qualification to adapt industry 4.0
  • High investment.

Impact of industry 4.0:

  1. Improve production rate
  2. Improve product quality.
  3. Improve product lifecycle.
There are various ways by which industry 4.0 can impact manufacturing firm, I mention few of them.
In an upcoming blog, I am going to discuss it in detail.

List of companies:

  1. List of global core automation manufacturing companies doing innovation in industry 4.0:
          1.Bosch.
          2. Siemens.
          3. SAP.
          4. Festo.
          5.General Electric.

      2. List of companies in India working on Industry 4.0:

          1. Dassault system India
          2. United Technologies
          3. Cummins India

      3. Companies providing a solution:

          1. Infosys.
          2. Tcs.
          3. Wipro.

So this is a short review over Fourth industrial revolution.  I am going to discuss various points regarding Industry 4.0 like its elements, challenges, the impact of industry 4.0 in detail in upcoming days......'

INTERNET OF THINGS

INTERNET OF THINGS:

Internet of things is the word use by many but still they don't know what exactly IoT is? Still they won't understand the term Iot.  Internet of things is technology whose solo purpose is to improve human lifestyle. This objective can be achieve by different strategies.  Here strategies represents how should we implement or where should we implement IoT to live happy life and improve standards of leaving...

What is mean by internet of things (IoT)??

According to google, Internet of things network of physical devises, vehicle, home appliances and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators and connectivity which enable this object to connect and exchange data.

In simple words internet of thing is network of smart devices.  But the IoT itself doesn't give us an idea about how difficult is to implement it.

How exactly IoT works?

To understand how Internet of things work, we need consider one example:

Example 1: Smart homes

In our home we use various appliances like refrigerator, vacuum cleaner, air conditioner, dish washer, television etc. If we connect this thing together in the network which enable this devices to talk with each other then those devise are called as a smart devise.

Incident 1:

Suppose we forgot to lock our house before going for work, due to this network of smart devices we able to lock our house from far distance which save our time as well as save our resources.

Example 2:

In our vehicle we have various components. for time being we consider only tires. Now for this example we consider tires as our smart device.

Incident 2 :

Amie is a teacher working in the high school is on the way to reach school.  But there is some problems in her cars tire. Her tire causing some trouble. As the tire is smart device in our example, the smart device network provide information regarding the tire problem:

Our smart devise sends following information through the network:

1. It sends Amie the shop address where she can replace her tire.
2. It sends the information regarding the failure to the manufacturer where it manufacture. it sends information regarding the batch from which it dispatch and how it actual fails.
3. It sends the information regarding the tire failure to service center so that they prepare there equipment to solve Amie's probably. So it reduces the time for repair. Amie able to reach school in time.
At the end customer problem had solved, error in manufacturing had found-out, the service provider able to provide the good service.

What are the challenges in Iot?

1. security:

security is the biggest challenge in IoT. Consider our smart house example, if our house smart appliances get hacked then the hackers can get easy access to our house which is not desirable.

2.Connectivity:

Connecting so many devices on single network is the biggest problem face by IoT. At present we rely on the centralized, server/client paradigm to authenticate, authorize and connect different nodes in a network.

I am going to discuss this challenges in detail in my future blog.

Current ways to implement IoT:

  • Smart parking.
  • smart grid.
  • water management.
  • Smart health devices.
  • Intelligent transport system.
This are the some ways by which we implement IoT.

Companies which are using IoT In India:

  1. Intel:
  2. TVS motor: It uses IoT for automation, quality control, pollution control and monitoring etc.
  3. Volkswagen: They introduces SAP system into their production line which keeps complete track of their parts.
  4. Hero moto corp :The largest two-wheeler company in the country, with the help of IoT keeps tabs of vehicles available in different locations so that the dealer can be kept informed all the time.
  5. Hindustan petroleum: it automates processes and creates real-time insights into the business. It has installed sensors in field units to capture information such as temperature, pressure etc.
  6. IBM
  7. cisco
  8. Bharti infra tel

So this is all about Internet in Things which help you to understand it. If you like the blog please share it with your friends!!!!

Why Tesla motors are special?

TESLA is an manufacture electric car like models, model 3, roadster, model x. there are several reason why Tesla is important or Tesla cars are special. Theyare special because they run on clean energy resource , There design are far better than any BEV. Tesla is important because of following points:
  1. Design: Tesla has design the most safest car on the planet and they design it from the ground. They are high in speed, high in range; what else we need. 97% of the body is made up of aluminium which ensure the safety of passengers.
  2. Battery: Tesla use the cell made battery in the common cylinder 18650 form. they are completely different from li-ion battery which are use in other BEV.  Tesla battery are easy to charge and for charging they take less time.
  3. Electric drive: As Tesla motors doesn’t have an internal combustion engine. rather than it have an electric drive which make it spacial. as it make zero pollution. Tesla doesn't require transmission as they use AWD,  it  able to control torque of front wheel and rear wheel independently which make easy to ride it in any weather condition.
  4. Charging speed: BEVs can charge only as quickly as their charging systems and battery chemistry and heat management systems allow. Most BEVs use a 6.6-kw charger, which means they can take on juice from a Level 2, 240-volt home, workplace or commercial charging station at a maximum rate of 6.6 kW per hour. Teslas come standard with a 10-kW charger and can be ordered with a double charger rated at 20 kW.

   5. INTERIOR:
        1. TOUCH SCREEN DISPLAY:  it have 17 inch touch screen display.

POPULARITY OF ELECTRIC CAR IN INDIA

Current available cars in India are  mostly run on fuel like petrol or diesel. but this fuel wont last for long. So there is highly requirement of cars which wont consume petrol or diesel like electric car. but this cars are not popular in India.

1.Price : In India average cost of the vehicle (traditional) is about 8 lacks. But the electric car cost is high like Tesla cars are about 50 lacks. Even the chipest electrical car cost is about 20 lack. so its not affordable for people in India.

2. Baterry : Electric cars require Li-ion battery as a source.  Since there is no manufacturing firm is established India, thus they need export battery from china. cost of Li-ion battery India is about $250-$350 per kwh battery. For Tesla cost is much low about $150 per kwh.

3.Range Anxiety: Range anxiety is a problem that has face by most of the electric car.  When a fuel car can be fully topped off in 10 mins, electric cars need a lot longer to be recharged. this problem has been solve by new technologies like Superchargers , DC fast chargers.

4.Innovations : Whether you look at the engines or the battery capabilities, Tesla has made a lot of headway in the way electric cars have been working. We need a lot more companies working on such innovations to drive the cost of adoption low enough.

5. Infrastructure : Electric cars would be useless if you can’t charge them. There needs to be a wide net of charging stations. Currently there is no such service is available.
